Yesterday was a good workout. I did 50 minutes of intervals on both the treadmill and elliptical. By the time I was done I was sweating bullets and wanting to puke my guts out! I call that a good workout! I also had my Relay for Life meeting, which went really well. We had all new teams come to the meeting so I had to adjust the agenda I had all planned out... But that is a good problem to have. I also got a renewed vigor when it comes to the Relay.
This weekend I am going to do some bike shopping... Not buying, cause I'm working on getting money, but shopping none the less.
Back to Friday...
I was at home all day with a migraine, and not much of an appetite, which meant not my usual eating patterns. I've been eating about 6 times a day, and drinking lots and lots of water! My muscles definitely needed the break. I am also going to apply a new standard for my workouts... If my body says I need a break, I'm going to take one. I don't need to worry about injuries this early in the game. One thing though... I missed going to the gym today. I feel good after a workout, and it really gets my day going well. I am also going to work on trying to mix up my workouts a bit. Keep it fresh. Another week or two and I'm gonna hit up the Spin class at OZ, 60 minutes on a bike 3 days a week should be beneficial!
